If you want to lose or ‘shed’ weight, boost your energy levels, get toned, improve your health and feel great… then Alternative Boot Camp is for you.
These challenging and fun outdoor circuit training classes, suitable for all levels of skill and fitness, are an inspiring way to get a whole-body workout, tailored to you, with elements of stamina, strength, balance and flexibility in every session.
Classes vary each week, but will usually combine bodyweight exercises, like the plank and tricep dips, squats and lunges, exercises using resistance bands, as well as running and step work.
Fitness Boxing and skipping are also very popular, and we set regular timed personal challenges, ideal for monitoring your progress.
Exercises are adapted to suit each person, and sessions are suitable for men and women of all ages and fitness levels, including pre-and post-natal women, and those recovering from illness or injuries.
Classes are held at various times throughout the week in the beautiful setting of Alexandra Park, close to Crouch End, Muswell Hill, Hornsey and Wood Green, and the programme runs ALL year round and in ALL weather!
